Times Union Center could see national chain restaurant, apartments across street

Developers Chris Maddalone and Seth Meltzer have a contract to buy 40-48 South Pearl St. in downtown Albany, New York across from the Times Union Center Downtown Albany could get its first national chain restaurant, and more apartments, under plans being pursued by a local development team. Chris Maddalone and Seth Meltzer of Maddalone & Associates in Schenectady signed a contract to buy 40-48 South Pearl St., a three-story building across from the Times Union Center that formerly housed Pagliacci Ristorante on the ground floor.
