Congressman Lee Zeldin announced on Monday that the Downtown Montauk Project has been awarded a key dune stabilization project in the First Congressional District of New York by the Army Corps of Engineers. H & L Construction, based in Bay Shore, was awarded the project on Friday after putting in the lowest bid at $8,416,000.
