Golubs will match $25,000 in donations to help Schenectady businesses hurt by fire

A March 6 fire in downtown Schenectady killed four people, displaced 60 others, and destroyed two multi-story buildings on Jay Street across the street from City Hall A fundraising effort to help businesses hurt by a fire in downtown Schenectady, New York got a big boost today from Neil Golub , executive chairman of the board at Price Chopper supermarkets, and his wife, Jane. The Golubs pledged to match all donations up to $25,000 received by Friday April 10 for the "Taking Care of Business" fundraiser.
