That's not just a drink made with whiskey or brandy, sugar, bitters and water. It's also a battle cry for craft bartenders who continue to turn back the clock on America's cocktail scene, trying to forget decades of appletinis, Jager bombs and Long Island Iced Teas in favor of the halcyon days of crustas, collins and cobblers.
